This blog post is dedicated to emergency equipment and operator apparel that enhances the riding experience and ensures safety.

Recommended Personal Equipment
USCG approved personal flotation device
Neoprene shorts, rash guard, gloves, water shoes
Jet Ski Goggles
Sunglasses (polarized)
Sunscreen and a good facial sunscreen
After sun lotion
Bug spray
Anti-chafe cream of choice
Backpack to carry gear
Casual Attire and bathing suits
Snorkel and mask (location dependent)
Basic toiletries
Favorite snacks and bottled water
Camera, GoPro and or drone if you like
Phone and chargers (spare battery pack)
First Aid Kit and all required medications
A Float plan detailing emergency contacts
Recommended Emergency Equipment
Satellite phone* - for long distance or foreign travel
GPS Spot tracker/ePIRB*
Backup GPS
Walkie talkies - optional backup to VHF
*There are companies that will rent these for short term use. In the case of ePIRB (emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon) this can save thousands of dollars and save your life.
